Founder & Clinical Director
Shajuana Hayes, MA, BCBA, LBA
Hi, I'm Shajuana Hayes, founder of HIPD. I have worked in behavioral and mental health services since 2017, supporting children and young adults with autism and other developmental and behavioral needs across home, school, community, and clinical settings.
My background includes ABA, mental health counseling, CPS case management, behavioral health supervision, staff and parent training, and clinical leadership.
I hold a B.S. in Sociology with a minor in Criminology, an M.A. in Applied Behavior Analysis, and certificates in Autism Spectrum Disorder, Applied Behavior Analysis, and Cultural Diversity.
I founded HIPD to provide compassionate, individualized care that helps children build meaningful skills and thrive at home and beyond.
Our Approach
Progress that matters beyond therapy.
Every treatment plan is individualized to the child's strengths, needs, assessment results, and family priorities. We focus on skills that improve communication, independence, relationships, daily routines, and participation across home, school, and community settings.
We want families to move from feeling defeated and overwhelmed to feeling hopeful, supported, and confident about what comes next.
